Safety

Safety is the top priority for every single member of the Astraeus team. Every one of our flight and cabin crew members undergo rigorous training both when they first join the company and on a regular basis throughout their career with us.

Our operation is licensed and overseen by the UK Civil Aviation Authority, which maintains some of the highest standards in the world. We also maintain extensive
internal audit and quality control systems within each department of the airline, designed to ensure that every aspect of your flight with us meets the standards you would expect of one of the UK’s leading independent airlines.

Our security measures

Our cabin crew members undergo a five- week training course before commencing flying with us, which covers a wide spectrum of subjects including safety and emergency procedures, medical care, aviation security, dealing with disruptive passengers, in-flight service and crew resource management.

Astraeus has stringent security measures in place to guard against threats to, or posed by, passengers, baggage and cargo. We regularly update our security procedures on the basis of advice from the UK Department of Transport, which has overall responsibility for aviation security in the United Kingdom.
